These traditional Mayan candles are made in Guatemala by Tata Mario, one of the Ajq'ijab' (spiritual leaders of the Maya).

Used in ceremonies, incantations and many traditional practices and rituals, these candles were made among the K'iche' people. They contain the 9 main colors, each of which has a healing purpose for the Maya, including:

Yellow: abundance and healing
Red: power and light
Black: Letting go of the negative
Green: Connection with the heart of the earth
Blue: Request protection from the heart of heaven
Light blue: child well-being and family protection
Pink: health and hope
Violet: Asking for forgiveness
White: so that our relationships remain good and healthy

Origin of the candles

These beautiful candles are from the K'iche' Maya people and are made by the wonderful Tata Mario. He is an Ajq'ij (Maya spiritual leader) with decades of experience healing people who also makes holistic products and sells them in the K'iche' area of ​​Guatemala. The local Ajq'ijab' (Maya spiritual leaders) come to his shop to purchase products for their own spiritual practices such as fire ceremonies, cleansings and more.

Application

You can use these candles for your spiritual practices. Use a match or a lighter and expose the bottom of the candle to the fire for a few seconds, then place it quietly on a flat surface. Then light the candle and let it burn until it is completely burned.

Important information

Size & pattern/color may not be exactly as shown in the pictures. They do of course sometimes come with minor imperfections, such as bumpy parts, not perfectly flat bottoms, etc. However, nothing that should affect their spiritual effect or effectiveness when standing, burning, etc.
